Children’s Theatre of Charlotte provides FREE pre-professional training to high school actors who possess theatrical talent and a strong commitment to theatre work. Selected through auditions, the students receive CMS school credit. Ensemble meets for three hour classes most Saturdays and Sundays throughout the school year and produces one play per season.

 

Auditions for the 2007-08 Ensemble Company will be held Saturday, August 25, beginning at 1 pm at ImaginOn, 300 East Seventh Street. Please call 704-973-2848 for an audition appointment.  Students must prepare two contrasting monologues (one comic and one dramatic OR one contemporary and one classic), which should come from stage plays. Callbacks will be held on Sunday, August 26, beginning at 1 pm. Former members need not audition on Saturday, but should make an appointment for the callback on Sunday, August 26.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

·   Current student in grades 10-12 (Students do not have to attend a CMS school to participate)

·   2.0 GPA or higher

·   List of previous experience or resume and headshot if available
