 The audition will take place July 29 & 30, at Theatre Charlotte, 501 Queens Rd, Charlotte.
The times for both nights are; children, 6:00 – 8:00 pm / adults, 8:00 – 10:00 pm.

Roles are available for a large cast of men, women and children of all ages. All auditionees should come prepared with a song and the sheet music, (no a cappella or recorded music), come dressed comfortably, as the choreographer will teach some dance.

The musical version of Dickens’ “Oliver Twist†tells the story of a young orphan, Oliver Twist, who runs away from an apprenticeship at an undertaker’s and is picked up hungry and tired in the streets of London by the Artful Dodger who leads him to Fagin’s den. And there the adventure begins.Â

“Oliver !†is a memorable musical, featuring songs such as “Food, Glorious Food,†“Consider Yourself,†“It’s a Fine Life,†“Who Will Buy,†and the haunting “As Long As He Needs Me.â€Â A long running hit in both New York and London, the film version won an Academy Award as Best Movie.
