Due
to the generosity of Bank of America,
Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP and
the Wachovia Corporation, current MTA members with legitimate financial
need
are being provided full scholarships to
participate in any or all activities
during AACTFest ‘07 Charlotte (with the exception of meal functions and the AACT
endowment tribute).  This includes any of the twelve
performances and fifty workshop sessions, including the popular
adjudication workshop.

For a complete listing of these events, go to the festival website at
www.aactfest07.com

Those of you who participate any
theatre festivals (
NCTC’s secondary school play festival, AACTFest or the Kennedy Center American College
Theatre Festival)
should make special note of the adjudication
workshop.  Also, the opening keynote address by philanthropist
Ben Cameron, former Executive Director of Theatre
Communications Group, should not be missed.  Attached you will find
the feature article from The Charlotte Observer  which appeared
on the cover of the arts section on Sunday, June 3rd.  There will be
another story on festival guests Terrence Mann and Charlotte
d’Amboise
in this Sunday’s edition with additional
information.

WE DO NOT WANT COST TO BE A FINANCIAL
BARRIER TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN AACTFEST ‘07 CHARLOTTE.

If you are a
current MTA member, have financial need and desire scholarship
support,
merely send an email to AACTFest ‘07 Charlotte
Co-Chair
 Keith Martin at
kmartin@richmondballet.com and
let him know what days you would like to attend, then present a photo identification at the registration
table in the Omni Hotel Charlotte (NOT the Blumenthal Box Office) for a
nametag that will give you full access to AACTFest ‘07
events.

Apologies for the short notice; we
have been working on scholarship support for quite some time but have only
recently been able to confirm the
detail.
