Reception following the performance

Featuring Catherine Smith and Tim Ross (fresh from their starring roles in “Carrie Ann’s Kiss” presented in April at the Blumenthal’s Booth Theatre).

“Love Letters” is a unique and imaginative theatre piece comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, became romantically attached, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences.  As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny but always telling pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down.

Tickets $30 with all proceeds going to benefit Theatre Charlotte.   Your contributions can be made by calling 704-334-9128 or at the door the night of the performance.

Please support Theatre Charlotte.  Your donations help us present our Main Stage series, Stage 501 series and other special productions and programs.  Our Main Stage series for 2007-2008, our 80th Anniversary season, will include Oliver!, The Heidi Chronicles, Walking Across Egypt, The Diary of Anne Frank and Little Shop of Horrors.  Through Stage 501, we will present Having Our Say—a co-production with the Afro American Cultural Center—Nouveau, 9 x 9 x 9 and Teatro Latino.
