Crimes of the Heart
Piedmont Players Theatre, Inc. will hold auditions for Crimes of the Heart on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 5 and 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the 3rd floor rehearsal room at the Meroney Theater, 213 South Main Street, Salisbury, NC.
Join the trials and tribulations of three of Mississippi’s most notorious sisters – a senator’s wife accused of shooting her husband, a singer just back from the West Coast, and the oldest sister who is a charter member of the Lonely Hearts Club of the South – as they await news of their grandfather who is living out his last hours in a local hospital. Crisis after crisis, the play delivers laughter, intrigue and insight into the lives of the three sisters.
Cast: Lenny Magrath – the oldest sister
Chick Boyle – the sisters’ first cousin
Doc Porter – Meg’s old boyfriend
Meg Magrath – the middle sister
Babe Botrelle – the youngest sister
Barnette Lloyd – Babe’s lawyer
Rehearsals typically run Monday-Friday from 7-10 p.m.
Performance dates are July 26-28, August 1-4 at 7:30 p.m. and July 29 Sunday matinee at 2:30.
