The Fort Mill Community Playhouse will present “Bandstand Tales II,” an original musical based on the history of Fort Mill, at the Playhouse, 615 Banks St., Fort Mill, May 17 – 19 at 7:30 pm and May 20 at 5 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for seniors and students and are available on-line at www.fortmillplayhouse.org, or, if using check or cash, at Crossings on Main in Fort Mill. The cast of forty-plus actors, dancers and singers, featuring the Paradise Singers and under the direction of Polly Adkins, will bring to life vivid stories and scenes from Fort Mill’s past all the way back to its founding in the mid-1700s. Several new sketches, as well as a song by musical director Alice Totherow, have been added to the libretto of last year’s lively production.
