Blowing Rock Stage Company is seeking actors/musicians for their upcoming production of Keep on the Sunny Side by Douglas Pote. It will be directed by Ann Marie Costa.
1st rehearsal: July 13, 2007 Runs July 25 - August 12, 2007
Character Breakdown:
AP Carter: Patriarch of the Carter clan, ages 27-70, low to high baritone, some guitar
Sara Carter: AP’s wife, ages 16 -70, low alto, autoharp player
Maybelle Carter: ages 16-70, Soprano/high alto, a “smokin†guitar player
Janette Carter: daughter, ages 15-40, alto, some guitar
Man #1: plays multiple roles, must play some guitar/mandolin/bass
Man #2: plays multiple roles, must play mandolin/guitar
Note: Auditionees for Sunny Side are requested to accompany themselves in the style of show.
Actors are paid (equity or non-equity salary range) and housed.
